FaithTech is a community of Christians who work in and around technology — developers, designers, founders, students — figuring out what it means to follow Jesus in the work we do. The Australian communities on this site are part of FaithTech International (opens in a new tab), a global movement of city communities.
Meet, learn, build
Each city runs its own rhythm of gatherings — dinners, build nights, and honest conversation about faith and the work we do. Between gatherings, the community lives in a WhatsApp group: it's where meetups get planned, questions get answered, jobs get shared, and prayer gets asked for.
The three words the communities organise around are meet — turn up and know each other; learn — work out together how faith and technology fit; and build — make things that serve people well.
How joining works
Pick your city from the front page, fill in a short signup, and you'll be welcomed into the city's WhatsApp community. The signup asks a little about you so the community can greet you properly, and every member agrees to the same short set of community guidelines: hear others out, speak with grace, and protect one another's privacy — prayer requests and stories stay inside the group.
Gatherings are announced in the group and listed on the events page. Joining costs nothing, and there's no obligation — come along to one and see.
